This Review proposes an interface‐centric framework for large‐area 2D materials integration, linking wafer‐scale single‐crystal epitaxy, clean transfer and deterministic stacking, and interface‐dominated structure–property–device correlations. We summarize how interfacial symmetry and energetics govern nucleation/coalescence and adhesion‐controlled ...

Phosphorylation of Optineurin by TBK1 induces the formation of filaments that condensate upon binding to linear polyubiquitin. Membrane‐anchored LC3 partitions into these condensates, suggesting that phase separation of filamentous Optineurin with ubiquitylated cargo promotes the sequestration of cargo and its subsequent alignment with LC3‐positive ...

Circuitry of nuclear factor κB signaling [PDF]
Over the past few years, the transcription factor nuclear factor (NF)-κB and the proteins that regulate it have emerged as a signaling system of pre-eminent importance in human physiology and in an increasing number of pathologies. While NF-κB is present

Immunomodulatory effects of 17-O-acetylacuminolide in RAW264.7 cells and HUVECs : involvement of MAPK and NF-κB pathways [PDF]
The terpenoid 17-O-acetylacuminolide (AA) was shown to inhibit the production of several inflammatory mediators. However, the mechanisms by which this compound elicited its anti-inflammatory activity remain to be elucidated.

This study revealed how the osteoblastic microenvironment determines the fate of cancer cells disseminated in bone, with a focus on whether they colonize, reside in quiescence, or reactivate from dormancy. Targeting integrin signaling may offer promising strategies for preventing quiescent cancer cells reactivation and bone colonization.

Stronger inflammatory/cytotoxic T cell response in women identified by microarray analysis [PDF]
Women develop chronic inflammatory autoimmune diseases like lupus more often than men. The mechanisms causing the increased susceptibility are incompletely understood, although estrogen is believed to contribute.

Dietary habits play a key role in chronic diseases, and higher annual consumption of fruit and vegetable may lower risk of dementia. Artificial intelligence predicts the lipid‐like compound α‐Amyrin (αA) from plants with edible peels as a drug candidate against Alzheimer's disease.

β2-adrenergic agonists modulate TNF-α induced astrocytic inflammatory gene expression and brain inflammatory cell populations [PDF]
Background: The NF-kappa B signaling pathway orchestrates many of the intricate aspects of neuroinflammation. Astrocytic beta(2)-adrenergic receptors have emerged as potential regulators in central nervous system inflammation and are potential targets ...
