Transcriptional regulation of gamma/delta T cell antigen receptor.

T cells bearing gamma/delta T cell receptor and their expression of activation antigen in peripheral blood from patients with Sjögren's syndrome.

Clinical and experimental rheumatology, 1992
T cells bearing gamma/delta T cell receptor (gamma/delta + T cells) and their expression of activation antigen (HLA-DR) or the marker of natural killer (NK) cells (CD56), were examined in the peripheral blood lymphocytes (PBL) from twenty-two patients with Sjögren's syndrome (SS) by three-color flowcytometry to elucidate possible pathological roles of ...

Monoclonal antibodies to CD6 preferentially stimulate T-cell clones with gamma/delta rather than alpha/beta antigen receptors.

Human immunology, 1991
CD6 is a pan-T-cell structure about which very little is known, although certain CD6 monoclonal antibodies have been reported to be mitogenic for T cells. Using a heterogeneous collection of human T-cell clones, we now show that CD6-responders were contained exclusively within the gamma/delta-receptor+ group.

[Immunoregulatory role of gamma delta T cell receptor in atopic asthma--association with the IgE response to molds antigen].

Nihon Kyobu Shikkan Gakkai zasshi, 1995
To evaluate the role of gamma delta T cells in atopic asthma, we examined the relationship among atopy bronchial asthma, and genetic polymorphism of the gamma chain of T cell receptors (TCR) in families through atopic asthmatic probands. We recruited 5 families (69 subjects). Total serum IgE levels were estimated by a radioimmunosorbent test (IgE RIST).
