Objective Axial spondyloarthritis (axSpA) and psoriatic arthritis (PsA) are overlapping yet distinct conditions within the spondyloarthritis (SpA) spectrum. As divergent immunophenotypes may influence disease course and therapeutic response, we compared immune cell subsets, cytokine profiles, and inflammatory mediators.

Stable and Functional Regulatory T Cells for Adoptive Cell Therapy
Deprivation of CD28 signaling combined with CDK8/19 inhibition induces stable iTregs with demethylation of Treg‐DRs. Re‐stimulation of these iTregs with additional agents further enhances their suppressive function. The generated S/F‐iTregs suppress inflammation in vivo, and subset of the suppressed Tconvs is converted into de novo pTregs, contributing

ABSTRACT Clinical trials combining radiotherapy (RT) with immune checkpoint blockade (ICB) have shown improved outcomes in only a fraction of patients, and optimal strategies for integrating these modalities remain under intense investigation. With a few exceptions, phase III combination trials have yielded disappointing results.

Type 1 diabetes (T1D) is a chronic T cell-mediated autoimmune disorder that results in the destruction of insulin-producing pancreatic ß cells leading to life-long dependence on exogenous insulin. Attraction, activation and transmigration of inflammatory

BackgroundIn recent years, many immunoregulatory functions have been ascribed to soluble HLA-G (sHLA-G). Since chemotaxis is crucial for an efficient immune response, we have investigated for the first time the effects of sHLA-G on chemokine receptor ...

The Endothelial CXCR Family in Vascular Health and Disease
ABSTRACT Endothelial cells (ECs) form the dynamic interface between blood and tissue, serving as key regulators of vascular homeostasis, inflammation, and repair. Among the molecular systems governing endothelial behavior, the C‐X‐C motif chemokine receptor (CXCR) family—originally characterized in immunology for its roles in leukocyte trafficking and ...

Phenotyping renal leukocyte subsets by four-color flow cytometry: Characterization of chemokine receptor expression [PDF]
To investigate mechanisms of cell-mediated injury in renal inflammatory disease it is critical to determine the surface phenotype of infiltrating renal leukocyte subsets.

Molecular Functions and Drug Prediction of MMP1 and TGFBR2 in Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma
MMP1 and TGFBR2 were validated by machine learning and external datasets as the candidate genes. Dexamethasone showed strong binding affinity to MMP1 (−7.72 kcal/mol) and TGFBR2 (−7.27 kcal/mol) in docking studies. Knockdown of MMP1 repressed the malignant phenotypes of NPC cells.

Multiple perturbations of the immune response affecting a range of cells have been reported in Trypanosoma cruzi-infected individuals and associated to clinical manifestations of chronic Chagas disease. There is a paucity of knowledge about the role of T
