This study reveals that dietary stachyose enriches Butyricimonas virosa, effectively attenuating metabolic dysfunction‐associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD). Mechanistically, B. virosa enhances gut thiamine monophosphate synthesis, which elevates hepatic thiamine pyrophosphate levels.

F13A1‐Mediated Macrophage Activation Promotes MASH Progression via the PKM2/HIF1A Pathway
In fatty liver disease, hepatocytes exposed to palmitate release S1P, which activates calcium signaling in macrophages. Elevated calcium enhances the activity of F13A1, driving PKM2 dimerization. The PKM2 dimers cause Warburg effect, translocate to the nucleus, cooperate with HIF1A, and upregulate IL1B expression, ultimately promoting classical ...

New lipid therapies: PCSK9 inhibitors
Pharmacologic therapy reduces cardiovascular risk in a variety of primary and secondary prevention clinical situations in addition to lifestyle modifications. Low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) is a key mediator of atherogenesis.

Higher plasma leucine is associated with increased risk of new‐onset myocardial infarction. Leucine deprivation alleviates advanced atherosclerosis in mice. Tumor‐induced leucine deprivation reprograms macrophage metabolism and increases CD5Lhi macrophages in mouse plaques. Mechanistically, leucine deficiency reduced SLC7A5‐PGAM5 binding in macrophages,

Development of a hamster model of spontaneous hypertriglyceridemia in diabetes
Hypertriglyceridemia (HTG) often accompanies diabetes and is considered a risk factor for diabetic vascular complications. However, inducing diabetic HTG typically requires high‐fat diets in certain animal models.

CD147/Basigin: From Integrative Molecular Hub to Translational Therapeutic Target
This review conceptualizes CD147 as a fundamental “Energy‐Structure Coupler,” physically bridging metabolic flux (via MCTs) with morphogenetic plasticity (via integrins/MMPs) to drive cancer, infection, and autoimmunity. Addressing the “specificity paradox” that limits current translation, the authors chart a strategic roadmap—spanning logic‐gated ...

This study demonstrates multifactorial lifestyle impacts on the pathogenesis and progression of cardiovascular diseases by a nanofluorescence sensor array for detecting four redox species and protein phosphorylation levels. Through cross‐scale fluorescence imaging of rats with different diets, we revealed that compared with single dietary interventions,
