Level of Biogenic Amines in Red and White Wines, Dietary Exposure, and Histamine-Mediated Symptoms upon Wine Ingestion [PDF]
Biogenic amines (BAs) are involved in physiological processes. Foods where typically high levels of BAs occur are fermented food and beverage. This work set out to evaluate the occurrence of BAs in red and white wines, and to also ascertain the dietary ...

Algorithmic Design of Disordered Networks With Arbitrary Coordination: Application to Biophotonics
Predictive Design of Disordered Networks: Disordered network‐like morphologies are abundant in nature, from cytoskeletal networks to bone structures and chalcogenide glasses. These structures are naturally hard to characterize. A new algorithmic tool extends the established Wooten–Weaire–Winer (WWW) algorithm to valencies above 4.

An Edible H2O2 Biosensor for Gastrointestinal Metabolites and Peroxidase Enzyme Quantification
We present an edible biosensor for gastric fluid analysis that integrates a caffeic acid–horseradish peroxidase redox system into an edible electrolyte‐gated transistor. The device enables rapid, low‐volume detection of H2O2 and, with minimal modification, metabolites and enzyme activity in simulated gastrointestinal conditions.

3D Soft Hydrogels Induce Human Mesenchymal Stem Cells “Deep” Quiescence
Three‐dimensional soft hydrogels mimicking the bone marrow niche induce deep quiescence in human mesenchymal stem cells. Unlike 2D culture, 3D matrices halt proliferation, regulate cell‐cycle and quiescence markers, and downregulate mTORC1 signaling, preserving stem cell phenotype and therapeutic potential ex vivo.
