Regulatory T cells in children with recently diagnosed type 1 diabetes
Background: Regulatory T cells have an important role in the control of immune reactivity against self antigens and probably play a role in pathogenesis of type 1 diabetes (T1D).

CD4+CD25+ regulatory T lymphocytes in bone marrow transplantation
Induction of immunological tolerance to alloantigens would be the treatment of choice to prevent graft-versus-host disease (GvHD) and allograft rejection in transplantation medicine. Organisms use a variety of mechanisms to avoid potentially deadly immunity to self-antigens.

A gene regulatory network armature for T lymphocyte specification [PDF]
Choice of a T lymphoid fate by hematopoietic progenitor cells depends on sustained Notch–Delta signaling combined with tightly regulated activities of multiple transcription factors. To dissect the regulatory network connections that mediate this process, we have used high-resolution analysis of regulatory gene expression ...

Intein‐based modular chimeric antigen receptor platform for specific CD19/CD20 co‐targeting
CARtein is a modular CAR platform that uses split inteins to splice antigen‐recognition modules onto a universal signaling backbone, enabling precise, scarless assembly without re‐engineering signaling domains. Deployed here against CD19 and CD20 in B‐cell malignancies, the design supports flexible multi‐antigen targeting to boost T‐cell activation and

The ability of the CD8+HLA-DR+ regulatory T lymphocytes population to regulate the immune response was first described several years ago. It is known that the suppressive effects of these cells depend on intercellular interactions and are mediated by the

ESTRIOL IN FUNCTIONAL MODULATION OF REGULATORY LYMPHOCYTES IN MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS
We studied effects of estriol (E3), at the doses corresponding to the I and III trimesters of pregnancy, upon expression of functional markers on T-regulatory (Treg) and Th17-producing (Th17) lymphocytes, aswell as the production of relevant cytokines by ...

γδ T lymphocytes kill T regulatory cells through CD1d
SummaryCoxsackievirus B3 (CVB3) induces myocarditis, an inflammation of the myocardium, in C57Bl/6 male mice but not in mice lacking γδ+ T cells [γδ knockout (γδKO)]. Suppression of myocarditis in γδKO mice corresponds to an increase in CD4+ CD25+ FoxP3+ T regulatory cells.

Clinical trials on PARP inhibitors in urothelial carcinoma (UC) showed limited efficacy and a lack of predictive biomarkers. We propose SLFN5, SLFN11, and OAS1 as UC‐specific response predictors. We suggest Talazoparib as the better PARP inhibitor for UC than Olaparib.

Development of therapies targeting cancer‐associated fibroblasts (CAFs) necessitates preclinical model systems that faithfully represent CAF–tumor biology. We established an in vitro coculture system of patient‐derived pancreatic CAFs and tumor cell lines and demonstrated its recapitulation of primary CAF–tumor biology with single‐cell transcriptomics ...
