Three phosphatase families form a community: The phosphohydrolases that act upon inositol pyrophosphates

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Inositol pyrophosphates are energy‐rich signaling molecules that perform critical functions in cells. Three different families of phosphatases hydrolyze the β phosphate of the inositol pyrophosphate molecules: two have narrow specificities and one is promiscuous.

Simulation study of a novel AlGaN/GaN L‐FER with ultralow turn‐on voltage and low reverse leakage

open access: yesMicro & Nano Letters, 2022
In this work, a novel AlGaN/GaN lateral field‐effect rectifier (L‐FER) with ultralow turn‐on voltage (VT) and low reverse leakage current (IR) is proposed and verified by technology computer aided design (TCAD) Sentaurus.

Investigating transcription factor dynamics in health and disease using FRAP

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
FRAP analysis of GFP‐tagged transcription factors reveals how molecular mobility and target engagement change in response to drug treatment. By combining live‐cell imaging, quantitative model fitting, and statistical analysis, this approach uncovers transcription factor dynamics linked to disease mechanisms, providing a powerful framework for ...

Suppression of the Diode Voltage Spikes in DC/DC Converter with Saturated Reactor

open access: yesKongzhi Yu Xinxi Jishu, 2018
In high power separated DC/DC converter, the reverse recovery of rectifier diode produces parasitic oscillation and causes higher voltage stress and extra electromagnetic interference.

Dimethyl fumarate combined with cisplatin at subcytotoxic doses sensitizes cervical cancer toward ferroptosis and apoptosis through GSH restriction and p53 (re)activation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Dimethyl fumarate (DMF) reduces growth of HPV‐positive cervical cancer spheroids and induces ferroptosis in cervical cancer cells via blocking SLC7A11/Glutathione (GSH) axis. Combination of subcytotoxic doses of DMF and cisplatin (CDDP) further suppresses spheroid growth and drives cell death in 2D culture models.

Failure Modes and Degradation Mechanisms of Thyristors Under Combined Electric and Thermal Stress

open access: yesEnergies
The reliability of the characteristics of high-voltage (HV) thyristors is related to the operational safety of the entire HVDC project. In order to investigate the degradation mode of thyristors in HVDC projects more realistically, aging experiments were

Network divergence analysis identifies adaptive gene modules and two orthogonal vulnerability axes in pancreatic cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

Interrogating the immune landscape of microsatellite stable RAS‐mutated colon cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
COLOSSUS project RAS‐mutated MSS colon cancer study explored transcriptomics and immune cell density by immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunoscore (IS), ISIC/TuLIS scores, mutation counts, and detected different prevalences but similar microenvironment composition across immune markers with clinical relevance for future immunotherapy combination ...

Keratin 19 as a prognostic marker and contributing factor of metastasis and chemoresistance in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Keratin 19 (KRT19) is overexpressed in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer with high levels of Kallikrein‐related peptidases (KLK) 4–7 and is associated with poor survival. In vivo analyses demonstrate that elevated KRT19 increases peritoneal tumour burden.

HVDC converter simulation model with turn-off characteristics of series thyristors

open access: yesInternational Journal of Electrical Power & Energy Systems
The converter models in common electromagnetic transient simulation software cannot reflect the dynamic turn-off process and the dispersity of series thyristors, which leads to inaccurate judgment and simulation of the commutation failure (CF).
