Loss of proton‐sensing TDAG8 increases tumor progression in mouse models of colon cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Loss of the pH‐sensing receptor TDAG8 accelerates colorectal cancer progression in mice. Animals lacking TDAG8 expression had increased tumor growth, DNA damage, and recruitment of tumor‐associated immune cells, including macrophages, neutrophils, and monocytes.

Astrocyte heterogeneity in brain metastases

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Astrocytes emerge as pivotal regulators of metastatic colonization, survival, immune remodeling, and therapy response associated with an increasing heterogeneity that requires spatially and longitudinally resolved approaches to uncover regulatory programs and guide context‐specific therapies.

A Novel 4H-SiC SGT MOSFET with Improved P+ Shielding Region and Integrated Schottky Barrier Diode

open access: yesMicromachines
A silicon carbide (SiC) SGT MOSFET featuring a “一”-shaped P+ shielding region (PSR), named SPDT-MOS, is proposed in this article. The improved PSR is introduced as a replacement for the source trench to enhance the forward performance of the device.

A light‐triggered Time‐Resolved X‐ray Solution Scattering (TR‐XSS) workflow with application to protein conformational dynamics

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Time‐resolved X‐ray solution scattering captures how proteins change shape in real time under near‐native conditions. This article presents a practical workflow for light‐triggered TR‐XSS experiments, from data collection to structural refinement. Using a calcium‐transporting membrane protein as an example, the approach can be broadly applied to study ...

Screening and epitope characterization of Nidogen‐2‐specific nanobodies

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Camel immunization and phage display were employed to generate high‐affinity VHH nanobodies against Nidogen‐2. After library construction, biopanning, ELISA screening, sequencing, and recombinant expression, selected nanobodies were purified and characterized, leading to the preliminary exploration of a nanobody‐based sandwich ELISA for specific ...

Mitigating reverse recovery power losses in MOSFET switching cell using extra Schottky diodes—Application to voltage source inverter

open access: yesPower Electronic Devices and Components
This article introduces a comparative study of the losses in Voltage Source Inverter (VSI) based on Metal-Oxide- Semiconductor Field-Effect Transistors (MOSFETs) depending on whether or not the latter are associated with antiparallel diodes. These diodes

Study of reverse recovery characteristic for 3‐kV 600‐A 4H‐SiC flat package type pn diodes

open access: yesElectrical Engineering in Japan, 2006
Abstract3‐kV, 600‐A, 4H‐SiC flat package type pn diodes have been developed and their reverse recovery characteristics have been investigated. In spite of being pn junction diodes, the developed diodes have a short reverse recovery time of 0.153µs at room temperature.

YlmG1 is localized exclusively to the chloroplast envelope membrane and is involved in preprotein translocation in Arabidopsis thaliana

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Cytosolically synthesized chloroplast preproteins are translocated across the outer and inner envelope membranes through translocons called TOC and TIC, respectively. In green algae and plants, the TIC core is composed of essential membrane proteins, Tic12, Tic20, and Tic214.
