The RNA World Hypothesis (RWH) posits that RNA alone initiated life, serving as both genetic material and catalyst. However, RNA’s chemical instability and limited catalytic efficiency challenge this view. The Matter World Hypothesis (MWH) proposes that life emerged from synergistic interactions among RNA, DNA, peptides, lipids, and catalysts in ...

The Matter World Hypothesis posits that prebiotic evolution is governed by physical and chemical constraints, leading to the inevitable coexistence of RNA and DNA prior to biological selection. While theoretically articulated, this hypothesis is strongly supported by experimental synthesis and degradation studies that demonstrate the simultaneous ...

Fusogenic RNA Nanomodules for Fusion‐Mediated and Multiplexed siRNA Delivery
A fusogenic lipid‐layered RNA nanomodules (L‐CRAMs) enable high‐capacity and long‐lasting siRNA delivery through membrane fusion. These nanomodules carry exceptionally large siRNA payloads, avoid conventional endosomal uptake, and release multiple functional siRNAs through Dicer‐mediated processing.

The Matter World Hypothesis (MWH) posits that life emerged through the synergistic interplay of Matter Desire, Environment, Time, and Natural Selection, transforming prebiotic matter into complex systems. Building on prior simulations of protocell stability, division, and energy transduction (Hashemi, 2025a-d), this study investigates RNA self ...

Using PVA–borax hydrogels as carriers for off‐the‐shelf artificial sweeteners to fight multidrug‐resistant A. baumannii. These soft, biocompatible hydrogels rapidly reduce bacterial viability within multidrug‐resistant A. baumannii biofilms by more than 99% within one hour and sustain antimicrobial activity over time, while demonstrating safety in both

This review examines how cellular behavior is regulated by mechanical cues transmitted through soft biomaterials, from single‐cell mechanosensing to tissue‐level adaptation. It highlights why physiological relevance, rather than model complexity alone, is critical for translational mechanobiology and introduces a scoring framework linking material ...
