Safe by Design Flow Technology for Diazoacetonitrile Generation and Direct Conversion to Pyrazoles
A safe by design flow process generates diazoacetonitrile (DAN) in water, transfers it with minimal hold up into an organic phase, and immediately consumes it in a telescoped [3 + 2] cycloaddition. Mapping of solvent, temperature, pressure, and residence time windows enables controlled DAN handling and practical access to cyanopyrazoles.
