Valosin‐containing protein counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its ATPase activity in vitro

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

Sampled-data robust H∞ control for T-S fuzzy systems with time delay and uncertainties

open access: yes, 2011
This paper investigates sampled-data robust H∞ control for T-S fuzzy systems with time delay and uncertainties. By introducing the free weighting matrices to deal with the integral items and converting the coupling time-varying matrix inequalities into a

Sampled-Data Consensus for Nonlinear Multiagent Dynamical Systems via Reliable Control

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2014
The paper studies sampled-data consensus for nonlinear multiagent dynamical systems. A distributed linear reliable consensus protocol is designed, where probabilistic actuators with different failure rates and random network-induced delay are considered.

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

Nonlinear Sampled-Data Systems

open access: yes, 2015
Sampled-data systems are control systems in which the feedback law is digitally implemented via a computer. They are prevalent nowadays due to the numerous advantages they offer compared to analog control.

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

Fault Diagnosis Techniques for Linear Sampled Data Systems and a Class of Nonlinear Systems [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
This thesis deals with the fault diagnosis design problem both for dynamical continuous time systems whose output signal are affected by fixed point quantization,\ud referred as sampled-data systems, and for two different applications whose dynamics are ...

On Existence of Uniformly Marginally Stable Zeros of Linear Sampled-Data Systems and Its Application to Stable Inversion-Based Control

open access: yesIEEE Access
This paper investigates a class of sampled-data control systems in which at least one of the discrete-time zeros remains on the unit circle regardless of the sampling period.
