Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

Sampled-data stabilization for Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy systems using membership function deviations [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
This paper is concerned with sampled-data stabilization for Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy systems by using the property of membership function deviations.

Data compression for estimation of the physical parameters of stable and unstable linear systems [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
A two-stage method for the identification of physical system parameters from experimental data is presented. The first stage compresses the data as an empirical model which encapsulates the data content at frequencies of interest.

An isoform of 14‐3‐3 protein regulates transbilayer lipid movement at the plasma membrane

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Loss of 14‐3‐3ζ in CHO cells confers resistance to exogenous phosphatidylserine (PS) and impairs endocytosis‐independent inward flip‐flop of fluorescent PS at the plasma membrane. RNAi‐mediated knockdown reproduces this defect, while no additive effect is seen in ATP11C‐deficient cells.

Fault Diagnosis Techniques for Linear Sampled Data Systems and a Class of Nonlinear Systems [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
This thesis deals with the fault diagnosis design problem both for dynamical continuous time systems whose output signal are affected by fixed point quantization,\ud referred as sampled-data systems, and for two different applications whose dynamics are ...

Numerically reliable identification of fast sampled systems: a novel δ-domain data-dependent orthonormal polynomial approach [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
The practical utility of system identification algorithms is often limited by the reliability of their implementation in finite precision arithmetic. The aim of this paper is to develop a method for the numerically reliable identification of fast sampled

A novel theory for sampled data system passivity

open access: yesIEEE/RSJ International Conference on Intelligent Robots and System, 2003
This paper presents a novel way to approach the interconnection of a continuous time and a discrete time physical system. This is done in a way which preserve passivity of the coupled system independently of the sampling time T. A direct application is in the field of haptic displays where virtual environment should feel like equivalent physical ...

The ubiquitin ligase RNF115 is required for the clearance of damaged lysosomes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Upon lysosomal rupture, an E3 ubiquitin ligase RNF115 translocates from the cytosol to the damaged lysosomal membrane. Moreover, RNF115 depletion impairs the clearance of damaged lysosomes, identifying it as a key regulator of lysosomal quality control.

On Fault Detection in Linear Discrete-Time, Periodic, and Sampled-Data Systems

open access: yesJournal of Control Science and Engineering, 2008
This paper gives a review of some standard fault-detection (FD) problem formulations in discrete linear time-invariant systems and the available solutions. Based on it, recent development of FD in periodic systems and sampled-data systems is reviewed and
