Killing of Kaposi's sarcoma-associated herpesvirus-infected fibroblasts during latent infection by activated natural killer cells. [PDF]
Kaposi's sarcoma-associated herpesvirus (KSHV) establishes life-long infection by evading clearance by the host immune system. In de novo infection and lytic replication, KSHV escapes cytotoxic T cells and NK cells through downregulation of MHC class-I ...

Kaposin-B enhances the PROX1 mRNA stability during lymphatic reprogramming of vascular endothelial cells by Kaposi's sarcoma herpes virus. [PDF]
Kaposi's sarcoma (KS) is the most common cancer among HIV-positive patients. Histogenetic origin of KS has long been elusive due to a mixed expression of both blood and lymphatic endothelial markers in KS tumor cells.

Effect of Blood Transfusion in an Experimental Sarcoma Model [PDF]
To study the effect of allogeneic, syngeneic, and autologous blood transfusion on the growth rate of the KHT tumor in a C3H murine model.Prospective, randomized, and controlled animal study.Sixty-one C3H female mice. The C3H female mice were implanted with 2 x 10(5) cells of KHT, a murine sarcoma. Ten days later, 0.3 mL of blood was removed from a retro-

EXPERIMENTAL PRODUCTION AND TRANSMISSION OF TAR SARCOMAS IN CHICKENS [PDF]
Two spindle cell sarcomas have developed as the result, of injection of coal tar into induced embryomas in chickens. One of these, transplanted to other chickens for eleven generations, is highly invasive in character, and metastasizes freely. Attempts to transmit this neoplasm by a filtrate or desiccate of the tumor have failed of success.

NEDDylation is essential for Kaposi's sarcoma-associated herpesvirus latency and lytic reactivation and represents a novel anti-KSHV target. [PDF]
Kaposi's sarcoma-associated herpesvirus (KSHV) is the causative agent of Kaposi's sarcoma (KS) and primary effusion lymphoma (PEL), which are aggressive malignancies associated with immunocompromised patients.

A Trp53fl/flPtenfl/fl mouse model of undifferentiated pleomorphic sarcoma mediated by adeno-Cre injection and in vivo bioluminescence imaging. [PDF]
Genetic mouse models of soft tissue sarcoma provide critical insights into disease pathophysiology, which are oftentimes unable to be extracted from human tumor samples or xenograft models.
