ABSTRACT Despite their global occurrence in warm‐temperate waters and their suspected non‐migratory lifestyle, Bryde's whales (Balaenoptera edeni spp.) are considered the least‐known large baleen whale species. In Australian waters, information on their distribution, ecology and behaviour is scarce.
