Consensus With Output Saturations [PDF]

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Automatic Control, 2017
This paper consider a standard consensus algorithm under output saturations. In the presence of output saturations, global consensus can not be realized due to the existence of stable, unachievable equilibrium points for the consensus. Therefore, this paper investigates necessary and sufficient initial conditions for the achievement of consensus, that ...

Superficial Saturation [PDF]

open access: yesTokyo Journal of Mathematics, 1986
For a Cohen-Macaulay semi-local ring A of dimension \(d=1\) a stable ideal I of definition has the equivalent properties \((i)\quad \lambda (A/I^ n)\) \((\lambda =length)\) is a polynomial for all \(n>0\), \((ii)\quad xI=I^ 2\) for some \(x\in I\) [see \textit{J. Lipman}, Am. J. Math. 93, 649-685 (1971; Zbl 0228.13008)].

Generic saturation

open access: yesJournal of Symbolic Logic, 1998
Assuming that ORD is ω + ω-Erdös we show that if a class forcing amenable to L (an L-forcing) has a generic then it has one definable in a set-generic extension of L[O#]. In fact we may choose such a generic to be periodic in the sense that it preserve the indiscernibility of a final segment of a periodic subclass of the Silver indiscernibles, and ...

In vitro esterification of cholesterol by pancreatic juice and by acetone powder extracts of small intestine: the effect of unsaturated fatty acids upon esterification with saturated fatty acids

open access: yesJournal of Lipid Research, 1965
The esterification of cholesterol by rat pancreatic juice and by extracts of acetone powders of rat small intestine was studied with palmitic, stearic, oleic, linoleic, and linolenic acids.

A New Kinematical Admissible Translational–Rotational Failure Mechanism Coupling with the Complex Variable Method for Stability Analyses of Saturated Shallow Square Tunnels

open access: yesBuildings, 2023
Tunnels are commonly constructed in water-bearing zones, which necessitates stability analyses of saturated tunnels based on the upper bound of the plastic theory.

Gut microbiome and aging—A dynamic interplay of microbes, metabolites, and the immune system

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Age‐dependent shifts in microbial communities engender shifts in microbial metabolite profiles. These in turn drive shifts in barrier surface permeability of the gut and brain and induce immune activation. When paired with preexisting age‐related chronic inflammation this increases the risk of neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative diseases.

Analysis of the composition and properties of heavy oils in situ by Low Field NMR relaxation method

open access: yesGeoresursy, 2018
For the analysis of heavy oils, the method of simultaneous measurement of the free induction decay (FID) together with the decay of the echo signal in the Carr-Purcell-Meiboom-Gill (CPMG) pulse program was used.

Valosin‐containing protein counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its ATPase activity in vitro

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.
