BMEMat, EarlyView.This mini‐review highlights the latest progress in the sacrificial template‐enabled creation of patent vascular‐like networks, which can be incorporated into volumetric tissue constructs. Such microchannel networks can provide an immediate supply of nutrition and O2 to those cells residing next to the channels.
