Seaweeds in Pig Nutrition [PDF]
Seaweeds are macroalgae, with different sizes, colors and composition. They consist of brown algae, red algae and green algae, which all have a different chemical composition and bioactive molecule content. The polysaccharides, laminarin and fucoidan are commonly present in brown seaweeds, ulvans are found in green seaweeds and, red algae contain a ...

Seaweeds in viticulture: a review focused on grape quality [PDF]
Cell walls of seaweeds contain a wide number of organic and inorganic constituents, of which polysaccharides have important biological activity. Some researchers suggest that polysaccharides from seaweeds can behave as biotic elicitors in viticulture ...

A ($2k+1$)$-$dimensional contact Lie algebra is one which admits a one-form $φ$ such that $φ\wedge (dφ)^k\ne0$. Such algebras have index one, but this is not generally a sufficient condition. Here we show that index-one type-A seaweed algebras are necessarily contact. Examples, together with a method for their explicit construction, are provided.

A meta-analysis of seaweed impacts on seagrasses: generalities and knowledge gaps. [PDF]
Seagrasses are important habitat-formers and ecosystem engineers that are under threat from bloom-forming seaweeds. These seaweeds have been suggested to outcompete the seagrasses, particularly when facilitated by eutrophication, causing regime shifts ...
