Sema4D is required in both the adaptive and innate immune responses of contact hypersensitivity
Molecular Immunology, 2016Originally recognized as a regulator of axon guidance in the nervous system, Semaphorin 4D (Sema4D, CD100) also participates in various immune responses and many immune-related diseases. However, whether Sema4D is involved in the pathogenesis of contact hypersensitivity (CHS) remains unclear.

Sema4D Knockdown in Oligodendrocytes Promotes Functional Recovery After Spinal Cord Injury
Cell Biochemistry and Biophysics, 2013Semaphorin4D (Sema4D) belongs to Semaphorins family and is secreted and membrane-bound protein. Its function on angiogenesis and axon regeneration makes it an ideal therapeutic target for spinal cord injury (SCI). Here we examined Sema4D expression profile by real-time PCR and western blot and found Sema4D was upregulated after SCI.

Isolating Fc-Tagged SEMA4D Recombinant Protein from 293FT Cells
2016Recombinant proteins are widely used in biomedical sciences, and in pharmaceutical research. Through genetic recombination, specific DNA sequences are engineered and inserted into a biological host. Once inside the host, the DNA is transcribed and translated into the target protein and is ready to be purified.
