Artificial Intelligence‐Based Body Composition Analysis Reveals Sex‐Specific Prognostic Markers and Their Clinical Value in Gastric Cancer: A Multicenter Study

This study applied AI to quantify multidimensional body composition from CT images in gastric cancer and healthy controls. Distinct sex‐specific patterns and disease‐related alterations were identified and were associated with survival. Higher muscle and fat measures were linked to improved outcomes.

Pharmacological Inhibition of FKBP51 Mitigates Early Life Adversity‐Induced Social Deficits in Male Mice

Early life adversity triggers persistent social subordination and brain‐wide molecular dysregulation. Pharmacological inhibition of the stress‐mediator FKBP51 during the adversity period prevents these long‐term deficits and restores normative social hierarchy.

Rising Pancreatic Cancer Incidence in Young Japanese Women and Increasing Distal Pancreatectomy in Older Adults: A Nationwide Claims‐Based Analysis From 2016 to 2023

This nationwide claims‐based study analyzed recent trends in pancreatic cancer incidence (2016–2021) and surgery (2016–2023) in Japan. The study revealed a rising incidence of pancreatic cancer, notably among young women, and an increasing use of distal pancreatectomy among older adults.

Unlike deceased‐donor liver transplantation, living‐donor liver transplantation (LDLT) for Budd‐Chiari Syndrome (BCS) presents distinctive challenges in hepatic venous (HV)‐outflow reconstruction because diseased HV–inferior vena cava (IVC) cannot be entirely replaced with healthy donor vessels.
