Chondrodystrophic Dogs as a Preclinical Large Animal Model of Discogenic Back Pain

Identifying Causal Inflammatory Factors With Gene Mediators and Potential Drugs for Bronchiectasis

Four inflammatory factors were identified with causal links to bronchiectasis: macrophage migration inhibitory factor (MMIF) showed a protective effect, whereas interleukin‐4 (IL‐4), interferon‐gamma (IFN‐γ), and basic fibroblast growth factor (FGF‐Basic) were associated with increased risk.

Xanthine Derivative KMUP‐3 Alleviates Periodontal Bone Resorption by Inhibiting Osteoclastogenesis and Macrophage Pyroptosis

This study reveals that our self‐developed xanthine derivative, KMUP‐3, suppresses osteoclastogenesis, inflammation, and pyroptosis by inhibiting the NLRP3 inflammasome. It also alleviates periodontal bone loss in periodontitis rats, highlighting its potential as a novel therapeutic option for periodontitis.
