Discovery and Targeted Proteomic Studies Reveal Striatal Markers Validated for Huntington's Disease
ABSTRACT Objective Clinical trials for Huntington's disease (HD) enrolling persons before clinical motor diagnosis (CMD) lack validated biomarkers. This study aimed to conduct an unbiased discovery analysis and a targeted examination of proteomic biomarkers scrutinized by clinical validation. Methods Cerebrospinal fluid was obtained from PREDICT‐HD and

The common state filter for SLAM [PDF]
This paper presents the Common State Filter (CSF), a novel and efficient suboptimal Multiple Hypothesis SLAM (MHSLAM) method for Kalman Filter-based SLAM algorithms. Conventional MHSLAM algorithms require the entire vehicle and map state to be copied for

Biomimetic Iridescent Skin: Robust Prototissues Spontaneously Assembled from Photonic Protocells
Uniform nanoparticles are induced to form arrays (photonic crystals) in the cores of biopolymer capsules, endowing these ‘protocells’ with structural color. These protocells are then assembled into large self‐standing objects, i.e., prototissues, with robust mechanical properties as well as iridescent optical properties.

Linear SLAM: Linearising the SLAM problems using submap joining [PDF]
The main contribution of this paper is a new submap joining based approach for solving large-scale Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM) problems. Each local submap is independently built using the local information through solving a small-scale SLAM; the joining of submaps mainly involves solving linear least squares and performing nonlinear ...

Recent Progress on Flexible Multimodal Sensors: Decoupling Strategies, Fabrication and Applications
In this review, we establish a tripartite decoupling framework for flexible multimodal sensors, which elucidates the underlying principles of signal crosstalk and their solutions through material design, structural engineering, and AI algorithms. We also demonstrate its potential applications across environmental monitoring, health monitoring, human ...

GI-SLAM: Gaussian-Inertial SLAM
3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) has recently emerged as a powerful representation of geometry and appearance for dense Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM). Through rapid, differentiable rasterization of 3D Gaussians, many 3DGS SLAM methods achieve near real-time rendering and accelerated training.
