ON DISCRETE-TIME SLIDING MODES
Abstract In the paper the problems of sliding modes simulation and sliding mode digital control design are considered. The simulation problem of the dynamic systems with discontinuous right-hand side is a nontraditional one. The principle difficulty is in the fact that in such systems there is a special kind of motions - sliding modes.

Enteropathogenic E. coli (EPEC) infects the human intestinal epithelium, resulting in severe illness and diarrhoea. In this study, we compared the infection of cancer‐derived cell lines with human organoid‐derived models of the small intestine. We observed a delayed in attachment, inflammation and cell death on primary cells, indicating that host ...

Sliding Modes in Constrained Systems Control [PDF]
In this paper, a sliding-mode-based design framework for fully actuated mechanical multibody system is discussed. The framework is based on the possibility to represent complex motion as a collection of tasks and to find effective mapping of the system coordinates that allows decoupling task and constraint control so one is able to enforce concurrently,

This study reveals that the small GTPase Rab14 is necessary for human papillomavirus (HPV) infection and plays an essential role in the transport of virions to the trans‐Golgi network (TGN). HPV in the early endosome (EE), which harbors GTP‐bound Rab14, is transported to the TGN through the switch of Rab14 from its GTP‐bound to GDP‐bound form.

Sliding mode disturbance observer and sliding mode controller for quadrotor UAV
Abstract The dynamics of quadrotor UAV is described considering internal uncertainty and external disturbance. The control system of quadrotor UAV is divided into inner loop attitude control system and outer loop position control system, In order to solve the problem of underactuated character.

An epithelial GPR35 isoform supports tumor‐associated transcriptional and metabolic phenotypes
GPR35 generates two functionally distinct isoforms with previously unresolved roles. GPR35‐short mediates immune‐cell chemotaxis, while GPR35‐long is enriched in colorectal cancer epithelium, where it supports increased metabolism, proliferation, and tumor‐associated transcriptional programs.

Enhancement of Solar PV Panel Efficiency Using Double Integral Sliding Mode MPPT Control
The extraction of maximum power from the solar panels, using the sliding mode control scheme, becomes popular for partial weather atmospheric conditions due to its effective dynamic duty cycle ratio.
