Solid-Phase Synthesis of Solanesol

Journal of Combinatorial Chemistry, 2008
An efficient and convergent solid-phase strategy for the total synthesis of All- E solanesol is described. This method features avoidance of iterative and difficult purifications comparing with solution-phase synthesis and is suitable for the preparation of other oligoprenols.

Solid phase synthesis of quinolones

Bioorganic & Medicinal Chemistry Letters, 1999
Solid phase syntheses of ethyl 6-carboxyquinol-4(1H-)-one-3-carboxylate (5) and N-substituted 6-carboxyquinol-4(1H)-one-3-carboxamides 7a-d have been described. Antifilarial in vitro activities of 5,7a-d against Brugia malayi have also been delineated.

Solid-phase phosphatidylethanolamine synthesis

Reactive Polymers, 1989
Abstract Dipalmitoylphosphatidylethanolamine(DPPE) was prepared from natural phosphatidylethanolamine (cephalin) and palmitic anhydride (PAh) by using polymer-supported trityl as a protective group for the ammo group of cephalin.

Solid‐phase synthesis of phosphopeptides

International Journal of Peptide and Protein Research, 1989
We report the solid‐phase synthesis of peptides containing O‐phosphoserine. Coupling was with commercially available Fmoc‐amino acid pentafluorophenyl esters, with base used at each cycle to cleave Fmoc. Phosphorylation of those serine residues left unprotected on the peptide‐resin was achieved with dibenzylphosphochloridate, and finally ...

Solid-Phase Synthesis of Isoxazolines

Journal of Combinatorial Chemistry, 2002
The polymer-supported synthesis of isoxazolines is described via nitrile oxide intermediates, starting from primary nitroalkanes in a one-pot process.

Solid phase synthesis of benzimidazolones

Tetrahedron Letters, 1996
Abstract An efficient solid phase synthesis of benzimidazoles is described. Polymer bound o-fluoronitroaromatic compound 2 was treated with an amine to give o-nitroaniline derivative 3 . Reduction of 3 with NaBH 4 Cu(acac) 2 followed by cyclization with an aryl imidate and cleavage with TFA gave 5 .

Solid-Phase Synthesis of Phosphopeptides

2013
Phosphopeptides are generally prepared by incorporation of suitable, protected phosphoamino acid derivatives during peptide synthesis using routine coupling protocols. The feasibility of chemical synthesis of phosphorylated peptides by Fmoc-SPPS was greatly enhanced by the introduction of the monobenzyl protecting group for the phosphate group.

Solid‐phase synthesis of H‐ and methylphosphonopeptides

International Journal of Peptide and Protein Research, 1996
We introduce solid‐phase syntheses of H‐ and methylphosphonopeptides, giving access for the first time to a new class of mimics for o‐phosphoamino acids. The model peptides H‐GlyGlyXaaAla‐OH (Xaa = Ser, Thr) were synthesized on a solid‐phase using Fmoc/tBu strategy and HBTU/HOBt activation by incorporation of hydroxyl‐protected serine and threonine. Automated Solid-Phase Synthesis of Oligosaccharides

Science, 2001
Traditionally, access to structurally defined complex carbohydrates has been very laborious. Although recent advancements in solid-phase synthesis have made the construction of complex oligosaccharides less tedious, a high level of technical expertise is still necessary to obtain the desired structures.

Grafted supports in solid-phase synthesis

Biopolymers, 2000
Solid-phase synthesis is greatly dependent on the solid phase. We are interested in the development of a "pellicular" type of solid support where a more mobile polymer is grafted to rigid plastics. Compared to low cross-linked microporous beads that dominate the field, this approach allows great flexibility of design, as plastics are available as ...
