On the kinetics between CO2 and alkanolamines both in aqueous and non-aqueous solutions—II. Tertiary amines [PDF]

open access: yes, 1988
The reaction between CO2 and tertiary alkanolamines (MDEA, DMMEA, TREA) has been studied in aqueous solutions at various temperatures. Also the absorption of CO2 in a solution of MDEA in ethanol has been studied.

Effects of the Fluid Replacement Method During Online Hemodiafiltration on the Solute Removal Performance and Biocompatibility Using the Asymmetric Cellulose Triacetate Membrane

open access: yesTherapeutic Apheresis and Dialysis, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Introduction Pre‐dilution online hemodiafiltration (Pre‐HDF) is predominantly used in Japan, whereas post‐dilution online HDF (Post‐HDF) is more common in Europe. An asymmetric cellulose triacetate (ATA) membrane may improve biocompatibility.

Atmospheric emissions from the deepwater Horizon spill constrain air-water partitioning, hydrocarbon fate, and leak rate [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
The fate of deepwater releases of gas and oil mixtures is initially determined by solubility and volatility of individual hydrocarbon species; these attributes determine partitioning between air and water.

SOLUBILITY ENHANCEMENT OF POORLY WATER SOLUBLE DRUGS

open access: yesINDONESIAN JOURNAL OF PHARMACY, 2014
Aqueous solubility is a limiting factor in the oral bioavailability of a certain class of poorly water soluble drugs. A consequence of low aqueous solubility is a slow dissolution rate. For the drugs with low aqueous solubility and high permeability the dissolution rate will be the rate limiting step for absorption.

Solubility Enhancement of Poorly Water Soluble Drug Aceclofenac

open access: yesIndian Journal of Pharmacy and Pharmacology, 2016
Solid dispersion was aim for increasing solubility and bioavailability of poorly aqueous soluble drug aceclofenac (ACE). Solid dispersion of drug aceclofenac (NSAID) was prepared by using different polymers i.e. Polaxomer 188, PVP k30, PEG 6000, in different ratios 1:1, 1:2, 1:3, by different methods of  solid dispersion preparation i.e.
