Morphological, immunohistochemical and molecular analysis of follicular dendritic cell sarcomas: L1CAM as a new diagnostic marker

open access: yesHistopathology, Volume 87, Issue 2, Page 258-269, August 2025.
Pathohistological analysis of FDCS revealed a morphological spectrum and led to the identification of the adhesion molecule L1CAM as a novel diagnostic immunomarker for FDCS. Sequencing identified NFKBIA as the most frequently altered gene, of note, exclusively in cases with a predominant epithelioid cytomorphology.

Usefulness of Endoscopic Mucosal Resection Using an Over‐the‐Scope Clip for Duodenal Neuroendocrine Tumors: A Multicenter Retrospective Comparative Study

open access: yesJournal of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Volume 40, Issue 8, Page 2018-2027, August 2025.
ABSTRACT Background and Aim Resection of non‐ampullary duodenal neuroendocrine tumors presents technical challenges. This study investigated the efficacy and safety of endoscopic mucosal resection using an over‐the‐scope clip compared to endoscopic mucosal resection with a ligation device and endoscopic submucosal dissection. Methods This retrospective

Neurogenomic landscape associated with status‐dependent cooperative behaviour

open access: yesMolecular Ecology, Volume 34, Issue 15, August 2025.
Abstract The neurogenomic mechanisms mediating male–male reproductive cooperative behaviours remain unknown. We leveraged extensive transcriptomic and behavioural data on a neotropical bird species (Pipra filicauda) that performs cooperative courtship displays to understand these mechanisms.
