In islet β cells, LGR4 binds with Rspondin to activate the Wnt‐β‐catenin‐Ccnd1 axis, leading to a subsequent increase in cell proliferation. On the other hand, LGR4 also binds with RANKL, thus suppressing the phosphorylation of p44/p42 MAPK and p65 NF‐κB and subsequent cell apoptosis.

Cerebrospinal fluid proteins in relation to longitudinal cognitive trajectories
Abstract INTRODUCTION We investigated longitudinal cognitive trajectories in relation to cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) proteomics in Alzheimer's disease (AD). METHODS Differential protein abundance analysis of proteomics (SomaScan 7K) data was performed for composite scores for domain‐specific cognitive functions (memory [MEM], executive function [EF], and

Abstract INTRODUCTION Neuropeptide dysregulation and microvascular injury are involved in pathogenesis of vascular cognitive impairment (VCI); however, the underlying etiology of this pathological axis remains unclear. METHODS We investigated pathological mediators across varying severities of VCI in a rat model of chronic cerebral hypoperfusion (CCH).
