Securing the Future: Lightweight Blockchain Solutions for IIoT and IoT Networks
ABSTRACT This paper presents an innovative lightweight blockchain architecture tailored for Internet of Things (IoT) and Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) applications. Building upon Byzantine Fault Tolerance (BFT) and Directed Acyclic Graph (DAG) technologies, our proposed BFT‐DAG framework introduces key enhancements to optimize its performance in

Fault management techniques for systems with SRAM-based FPGAs

An efficient BER-based reliability method for SRAM-based FPGA [PDF]
Single Event Upset (SEU) is a major concern for SRAM-based FPGAs where a simple bit-flip can lead to an abnormal execution. We present in this paper, a new fault tolerance method based on hardware BER (Backward Error Recovery) to protect/correct system against the occurrence of transient faults.

In this paper, various D flip‐flops (FFs) (DFFs) are studied and analyzed based on the performance and reliability effects of different architectures, technology, area, power, delay, and several other key performance parameters of DFFs. Based on these parameters, a few selected DFFs such as C2SFF, conditional‐bridging FF (CBFF)‐S, self‐shut‐off pulsed ...

This paper presents a lightweight reversible data hiding (RDH) system based on the integer reversible Meixner moment transform (IRMMT) for resource‐constrained microcontroller platforms. We demonstrate that the IRMMT overcomes the limitations of classical transforms, offering higher embedding capacity and better preservation of image quality.

NoLIEM: A Novel Lightweight Image Encryption Method for Resource‐Constrained IoT Devices
The expanded use of Internet of Things (IoT) devices in smart homes, industrial automation, healthcare, and smart cities has increased the risk of unauthorized access, data breaches, and man‐in‐the‐middle attacks. Traditional encryption methods like AES and RSA are too energy‐ and processing‐intensive for IoT devices.
