Anticancer Activity of ST101, A Novel Antagonist of CCAAT/Enhancer Binding Protein β
Abstract CCAAT/enhancer binding protein β (C/EBPβ) is a basic leucine zipper (bZIP) family transcription factor, which is upregulated or overactivated in many cancers, resulting in a gene expression profile that drives oncogenesis.

Nosocomial transmission of NDM-1-producing Escherichia coli ST101 in a Korean hospital [PDF]
Sir, Clonally diverse NDM-1-producing Escherichia coli (ST405, ST131, ST156 and ST101) have been reported globally, including on the Indian subcontinent. Indeed, there may be an association between isolates of NDM-1-producing E. coli ST101, phylogroup B1, that have been identified in Australia, Canada, Germany, the UK and Pakistan.

ST101 induces a novel 17kDa APP cleavage that precludes Aβ generation in vivo [PDF]
AbstractObjective:Inhibiting Aβ generation is a prime therapeutic goal for preventing or treating Alzheimer disease. Here we sought to identify any disease‐modifying properties of an azaindolizinone derivative, spiro[imidazo[1,2‐a]pyridine‐3,2‐idan]‐2(3H)‐one (ST101 or ZSET1446).Methods:The effects of ST101 were studied in 3xTg‐AD mice and young ...

Abstract 959: C/EBPβ antagonist peptide, ST101, as a therapeutic approach in breast cancer
Cancer Research, 2021Abstract Breast cancer (BC) is the most common invasive cancer in women, with more than 2.1 million cases and over 626,000 deaths occurring worldwide annually. Although age-adjusted mortality from BC has been declining since 1990, the median survival for patients with metastatic disease remains at 2-3 years, and 5-year survival ...

KPC-2 producing ST101 Klebsiella pneumoniae from bloodstream infection in India
This study characterizes KPC-2 producing Klebsiella pneumoniae belonging to ST101. Whole genome sequencing using the Ion Torrent PGM platform with 400 bp chemistry was performed. blaKPC-2 was found on an IncFIIK plasmid associated with ISKpn6 and ISKpn7 without Tn4401. This is the first report of KPC-2 K. pneumoniae from bacteremia in India.
