Protein glycosylation in cancers and its potential therapeutic applications in neuroblastoma
Glycosylation is the most complex post-translational modification of proteins. Altered glycans on the tumor- and host-cell surface and in the tumor microenvironment have been identified to mediate critical events in cancer pathogenesis and progression ...

A fully synthetic four‐component vaccine has been developed combining Tn antigen, vizantin (Mincle agonist), rhamnose (antibody recruitment), and mannose (CD206 targeting). By synergistically activating Mincle, FcγR, and CD206 pathways, it elicits strong IgG switching and cytotoxic T‐cells, significantly inhibiting tumors in mice.

Single‐cell glycomics reveals how epithelial–mesenchymal transition (EMT) remodels the cancer cell glycome and reshapes communication with immune cells. Emerging technologies, including scGR‐seq and GlycoChat, uncover glyco‐immune checkpoints in pancreatic cancer, highlighting glycans as active regulators of tumor–immune interactions and providing a ...

Decoding the molecular basis of the specificity of an anti-sTn antibody [PDF]
The mucin O-glycan sialyl Tn antigen (sTn, Neu5Acα2-6GalNAcα1-O-Ser/Thr) is an antigen associated with different types of cancers, often linked with a higher risk of metastasis and poor prognosis.
