In this explorative biomarker analysis, we assessed serial sampling of circulating tumor cells (CTCs) with CellSearch in two randomized trials testing immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) in metastatic breast cancer. Our data demonstrate a prognostic potential of CTCs, most apparent 4 weeks into ICI therapy.

Classification of acute myeloid leukemia based on multi‐omics and prognosis prediction value
The Unsupervised AML Multi‐Omics Classification System (UAMOCS) integrates genomic, methylation, and transcriptomic data to categorize AML patients into three subtypes (UAMOCS1‐3). This classification reveals clinical relevance, highlighting immune and chromosomal characteristics, prognosis, and therapeutic vulnerabilities.

Peripheral blood lymphocyte subsets of Chinese adults with liver steatosis
To evaluate the effect of liver steatosis on systematic cellular immunity through the changes of peripheral blood lymphocyte subsets, we retrospectively reviewed subjects receiving lymphocyte subtyping during annual medical check-ups. Liver steatosis was

Influence of Race, Age and Sex on the Lymphocyte Subsets in Peripheral Blood of Healthy Malaysian Adults [PDF]
The lymphocyte subsets in the peripheral blood of healthy Malaysian adults (212 subjects, age 18–71 years) were analysed using a flow cytometer FACScan in an effort to establish a reference range for the lymphocyte subsets.

There is an unmet need in metastatic breast cancer patients to monitor therapy response in real time. In this study, we show how a noninvasive and affordable strategy based on sequencing of plasma samples with longitudinal tracking of tumour fraction paired with a statistical model provides valuable information on treatment response in advance of the ...

B‐cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia (B‐CLL) and monoclonal B‐cell lymphocytosis (MBL) show altered proteomes and phosphoproteomes, analyzed using mass spectrometry, protein microarrays, and western blotting. Identifying 2970 proteins and 316 phosphoproteins, including 55 novel phosphopeptides, we reveal BCR and NF‐kβ/STAT3 signaling in disease ...

Monocyte and T-lymphocyte trans-endothelial migration in relation to cardiovascular disease: some alternative boundary conditions in a model recently proposed by Little et al. (PLoS Comput Biol 2009 5(10) e1000539) [PDF]
We consider a slight modification to the monocyte and T-lymphocyte boundary conditions of Little et al. (PLoS Comput Biol 2009 5(10) e1000539) and derive alternative parameter estimates. No changes to the results and conclusions of the paper of Little et al. (PLoS Comput Biol 2009 5(10) e1000539) are implied.
