POSFET Based Tactile Sensor Arrays [PDF]
In this paper, we present POSFET (piezoelectric-oxide-FET) based tactile sensing arrays. The equivalent model of a POSFET and its SPICE implementation is presented and various factors involved in the design of POSFET are discussed. A 5 x 5 array of POSFET tactile elements designed on the basis of discussion is also presented.

Tactile Feedback for Artery Detection in Minimally Invasive Robotic Surgery –Preliminary Results of a New Approach [PDF]
Minimally invasive robotic surgery (MIRS) entails total absence of haptic feedback due to the spatial separation of patient and surgeon. In conventional surgery, however, palpation to detect superficial arteries by a slight pulsation is an important,

Contact of a Finger on Rigid Surfaces and Textiles: Friction Coefficient and Induced Vibrations [PDF]
The tactile information about object surfaces is obtained through perceived contact stresses and frictioninduced vibrations generated by the relative motion between the fingertip and the touched object.
