Molecular analysis of TCGA breast cancer histologic types
Breast cancer is classified into multiple distinct histologic types, and many of the rarer types have limited characterization. Here, we extend The Cancer Genome Atlas Breast Cancer (TCGA-BRCA) dataset with additional histologic type annotations in a total of 1,063 breast cancers.

Aggressive prostate cancer is associated with pericyte dysfunction
Tumor‐produced TGF‐β drives pericyte dysfunction in prostate cancer. This dysfunction is characterized by downregulation of some canonical pericyte markers (i.e., DES, CSPG4, and ACTA2) while maintaining the expression of others (i.e., PDGFRB, NOTCH3, and RGS5).
