Multi‐Material Gradient Printing Using Meniscus‐enabled Projection Stereolithography (MAPS)

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, Volume 10, Issue 6, March 18, 2025.
MAPS is a new vat‐free printing technique that utilizes programmed delivery of resin droplets with custom formulations to enable multi‐material gradient printing of 3D structures with user‐defined variations in mechanical stiffness, opacity, surface energy, cell densities, and magnetic properties. Abstract Light‐based additive manufacturing methods are

Xerogel Films with Ordered Silica Nanorods Enable Fine‐Tuned Polarized Structural Colors in Modular Nanocomposite Films

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Xerogel films with aligned silica nanorods are prepared through a facile stretching and air‐drying approach. By controlling the alignment of silica nanorods and configuring multilayer film stacks, vibrant and tunable polarized structural colors with hues including green and orange are achieved.

Helminth-induced Th2 cell dysfunction is distinct from exhaustion and is maintained in the absence of antigen.

open access: yesPLoS Neglected Tropical Diseases, 2019
T cell-intrinsic regulation, such as anergy, adaptive tolerance and exhaustion, is central to immune regulation. In contrast to Type 1 and Type 17 settings, knowledge of the intrinsic fate and function of Th2 cells in chronic Type 2 immune responses is ...

Eco‐Friendly Deposition of Catalyst‐Free Graphene on Diverse Substrates

open access: yesAdvanced Sustainable Systems, Volume 9, Issue 4, April 2025.
This work presents a novel approach for graphene synthesis at room temperature via plasma‐enhanced chemical vapor deposition (PECVD) process, eliminating the need for catalysts. This method is compatible with diverse substrates, offering a sustainable and scalable pathway for industrial production.

The Primary Responses of Murine Neonatal Lymph Node CD4+ Cells are Th2-skewed and are Sufficient for the Development of Th2-biased Memory

open access: yesClinical and Developmental Immunology, 2003
Exposure of neonatal mice to antigen often results in Th2-biased responses in later life. Examples of this Th2 tendency are (a) secondary antibody responses dominated by the Th2-associated IgG1 isotype and (b) Th2-mediated tolerance to alloantigens.

Perioperative immune responses in cancer patients undergoing digestive surgeries

open access: yesWorld Journal of Surgical Oncology, 2009
Background Th1/Th2 cell balance is thought to be shifted toward a Th2-type immune response not only by malignancy but also by surgical stress. The aim of this study was to estimate perioperative immune responses with respect to the Th1/Th2 balance in ...

Apoptotic Vesicles Derived from Mesenchymal Stem Cells Ameliorate Hypersensitivity Responses via Inducing CD8+ T Cells Apoptosis with Calcium Overload and Mitochondrial Dysfunction

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The therapeutic potential of ApoVs derived from stem cells from human exfoliated deciduous teeth (SHED‐ApoVs) in the treatment of CD8+ T cell‐mediated hypersensitivity reactions is noteworthy. SHED‐ApoVs are capable of fusing with the plasma membrane of CD8+ T cells, which subsequently triggers a series of events characterized by calcium overload ...
