Th22 Cell Is a Gradually Proved Potential Biomarker for Acute Coronary Syndrome [PDF]
Th22 cell, a novel human CD4+ T helper subset, has already been reported to play a vital role in the process of chronic inflammatory diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and atherosclerosis (AS) [1, 2]. Interestingly, Th22 cells were also involved in acute coronary syndrome (ACS). Lin et al.

A pro-inflammatory role for Th22 cells in Helicobacter pylori-associated gastritis [PDF]
OBJECTIVE: Helper T (Th) cell responses are critical for the pathogenesis of Helicobacter pylori-induced gastritis. Th22 cells represent a newly discovered Th cell subset, but their relevance to H. pylori-induced gastritis is unknown.

Characterization of Mycobacterium tuberculosis-specific Th22 cells and the effect of tuberculosis disease and HIV coinfection. [PDF]
The development of a highly effective tuberculosis (TB) vaccine is likely dependent on our understanding of what constitutes a protective immune response to TB.

Non‐invasive scalp tape‐strip RNA sequencing captures core immune and follicular molecular signatures in alopecia areata. Tape‐strip transcriptomic profiles reflect disease severity and treatment response to baricitinib, with concordance to scalp biopsy‐derived signatures.

Therapeutic vaccines have promise as adjunctive treatment for tuberculosis (TB) or as preventives against TB relapse. An important development challenge is the limited understanding of T helper (Th) cell roles during these stages of disease.

ABSTRACT Testicular germ cell tumors (TGCT) are the leading malignancy in adolescent and young adult males, yet the immunological and cellular mechanisms governing their tumor microenvironment (TME) remain poorly understood. Here, we present a comprehensive review of TGCT pathobiology with a focus on the immune landscape, particularly the role of tumor‐

Background. Coronary atherosclerotic heart disease (CHD) is one of the major concerns in type 2 diabetes (T2D). The systemic chronic inflammation has been postulated to bridge the increased risk of cardiovascular disease and T2D.

Th17 but not Th22 cells display pathological behaviour in arthritis [PDF]
Background Th17 cells (IL-17+IL-22+) are critically involved in the induction and progression of arthritis. Recently, Th22 cells were discovered, which were characterised by IL-22 expression in the absence of IL-17. However, it remains unclear whether IL-22 and Th22 cells, directly contribute to synovial inflammation.
