The role of miR‐335‐5p in the redifferentiation of BRAF p.V600E thyroid cancers
The BRAF p.V600E mutation promotes thyroid cancer dedifferentiation and radioiodine resistance. Using a network approach, we identified miR‐335‐5p as a key regulator of BRAF‐mutated thyroid tumors. Restoring miR‐335‐5p increased thyroid‐specific gene expression and iodine uptake in cells and organoids.

Thyroid-like function in the urochordate Ciona intestinalis [PDF]
In the studies reported in the manuscript I investigated the involvement of Iodine and thyroxine (Thyroid Hormone, T4) in Ciona intestinalis metamorphosis. To date, the mechanisms regulating the metamorphosis of ascidians remain largely unknown.

Factors Related to Clinical Hypothyroid Severity in Thyroid Cancer Patients after Thyroid Hormone Withdrawal [PDF]
Thyroid hormone withdrawal (THW) to stimulate thyrotropin ( TSH) secretion produces acute thyroid hormone deficiency in patients who have undergone thyroidectomy for differentiated thyroid cancer (DTC), but not all patients developed clinically overt ...

EXOSC10, an essential nuclear RNA exosome‐associated 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease, is inhibited by the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil (5‐FU), and EXOSC10 depletion increases 5‐FU sensitivity. The colon‐cancer variant EXOSC10S402T, located in a proteolysis motif, is stable and nuclear but nonfunctional in vivo.

Dormant cancer cells can hide in distant organs for years, evading treatment and the immune system. This review highlights how signals from the surrounding tissue and immune environment keep these cells inactive or trigger their reawakening. Understanding these mechanisms may help develop therapies to eliminate or control dormant cells and prevent ...

The proposed mechanism of action for the CDK12/13 inhibitor and cyclin K degrader, CT7439. CDK12/13 inhibition interrupts transcription elongation, leading to increased DNA damage that results in cell death. This agent is a potentially novel treatment option for patients with colorectal cancer. Created in BioRender. Cyclin‐dependent kinase (CDK) 12 and
