This study revealed that 7‐demethylsuberosin exhibits immunosuppressive effects both in vivo and in vitro. Furthermore, it inhibits the phosphorylation of MAPK14 by targeting it, thereby modulating dendritic cell (DC) maturation and function and reducing inflammation across various in vivo models.

Cellular Immune Response Induced by mRNA Vaccines Against SARS‐CoV‐2
SARS‐CoV‐2 vaccine induces cellular immune response. T‐cells play a protective role for COVID‐19. ABSTRACT The disease caused by SARS‐CoV‐2 is known as COVID‐19, and it can range from mild symptoms to severe clinical manifestations, including respiratory failure, pneumonia, and organ failure. Since its emergence in 2019, more than 7 million deaths have

Repeated Episodes of GPP Induced by Respiratory Infections Are Mediated by Loss‐of‐Function IFIH1
ABSTRACT Background Generalized pustular psoriasis (GPP) is a severe and recurrent autoinflammatory disease that can be induced by a variety of factors. At present, its etiology and pathogenesis have not yet been fully elucidated. Upper respiratory tract infections are the main predisposing factor in children with GPP, and the MDA5 protein encoded by ...

Microbiome‐urothelium crosstalk in bladder cancer: From dysbiosis to clinical translation
This review elucidates the critical crosstalk between the urobiome and bladder cancer (BCa), mapping the landscape from ecological dysbiosis to clinical translation. We synthesize emerging evidence on microbial signatures that distinguish BCa patients, exploring key carcinogenic mechanisms including chronic inflammation, genotoxicity, and the gut ...

Navigating the cholesterol maze: Key insights on use of statins in neurodegenerative disorders
The graphical abstract encapsulates the dual neuroprotective mechanisms of statins in neurodegenerative diseases, highlighting both cholesterol‐dependent and cholesterol‐independent pathways. By inhibiting 3‐hydroxy‐3‐methylglutaryl coenzyme A (HMG‐CoA) reductase, statins reduce cholesterol synthesis, leading to altered lipid raft structures that ...

Diverse immunological roles of liver‐resident immune cells in liver diseases
Based on their origin and functional characteristics, LRICs can be classified into four categories. These cells differ in the focus of their immune functions in liver diseases, yet all exhibit the characteristic of functional bidirectionality.

Myeloid‐derived suppressor cells (MDSCs) are key contributors to cancer immunotherapy failure and major targets in new therapeutic strategies. We highlight therapeutic approaches to counteract their immunosuppressive functions and discuss recent efforts to optimize drug delivery for controlling MDSCs, focusing on resiquimod as a representative drug ...
