miR‐106b‐5p protects against drug‐induced liver injury by targeting vimentin to stimulate liver regeneration [PDF]
Understanding the endogenous mechanism of adaptive response to drug‐induced liver injury (arDILI) may discover innovative strategies to manage DILI. To gain mechanistic insight into arDILI, we investigated exosomal miRNAs in the adaptive response to ...

Mechanisms involved in the anti-tumor effects of Toosendanin in glioma cells [PDF]
Background Toosendanin (TSN) is a triterpenoid compound mainly used as an ascaris repellant. Recent studies have shown that it possesses antitumor effects in many types of tumor cells. However, the effects of TSN on glioma cells have rarely been reported.

Toosendanin Restrains Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis by Inhibiting ZEB1/CTBP1 Interaction. [PDF]
Background: Extensive deposition of extracellular matrix (ECM) in idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) is due to hyperactivation and proliferation of pulmonary fibroblasts. However, the exact mechanism is not clear. Objective: This study focused on the role of CTBP1 in lung fibroblast function, elaborated its regulation mechanism, and analyzed the ...

Meliaceae genomes provide insights into wood development and limonoids biosynthesis
The chromosome‐level genome of Azadirachta indica and Melia azedarach were provided. Meliaceae should be classified into two subfamilies: Cedreloideae and Melioideae. Cellulose/hemicellulose biosynthesis‐related genes expanded notably in woody Toona sinensis. Expanded special oxidosqualene cyclase catalogues help diversify Sapindales skeletons.

Introduction. Propolis has demonstrated wound healing effects. Propolis’ effects vary based on its composition and geographical origin. However, there are few reports on the effects of propolis on oral wound healing. The aim of this study was to evaluate the antioxidant and in vitro gingival wound healing effects of the n‐hexane extract of propolis ...
