Trajectory tracking for actuator arrays

2006 American Control Conference, 2006
Actuator arrays are planar arrangements of two degree-of-freedom actuators that cooperatively translate and orient objects for efficient manipulation. This paper describes a trajectory tracking control law for macroscopic actuator arrays and its convergence properties. The control law is designed based on the kinematics of an object on the array.

Tracking trajectories of feedforward systems

IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control, 2002
The objective of this paper is to solve the problem of tracking trajectories of feedforward systems. A family of time-varying state feedbacks that globally, uniformly, asymptotically and locally exponentially stabilize trajectories which are not necessarily periodic functions of time is exhibited.

Trajectory Planning of Tracked Vehicles

Journal of Dynamic Systems, Measurement, and Control, 1995
This paper presents a method for computing the track forces and track speeds of planar tracked vehicles, required to follow a given path at specified speeds on horizontal and inclined planes. It is shown that the motions of a planar tracked vehicle are constrained by a velocity dependent nonholonomic constraint, derived from the force equation ...

Feature Point Tracking for Incomplete Trajectories

Computing, 1999
A new algorithm is presented for feature point based motion tracking in long image sequences. Dynamic scenes with multiple, independently moving objects are considered in which feature points may temporarily disappear, enter and leave the view field. This situation is typical for surveillance and scene monitoring applications.

Trajectory tracking for a helicopter model

The Aeronautical Journal, 2001
AbstractIn this paper an algorithm for the trajectory tracking of a three-dimensional trajectory, assigned as a function of time, is presented. The proposed control system is suitable for application on unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) or for aircraft that require accurate path tracking, as in the case of rotorcraft in nap-of-the-earth (NOE) flight ...

Trajectory tracking and stabilisation of a riderless bicycle

2021 IEEE International Intelligent Transportation Systems Conference (ITSC), 2021
Trajectory tracking for an autonomous bicycle is considered in this paper. The trajectory tracking controller is designed using a Model Predictive Controller with constraints on the lean, steer, and heading angle as well as the position coordinates of the bicycle.

Neural network trajectory tracking of tracked mobile robot

2019 16th International Multi-Conference on Systems, Signals & Devices (SSD), 2019
In this paper, an online neural network trajectory tracking controller for a tracked mobile robot is proposed. The mobile robot used in this study has only three binary sensors to obtain its position/error from the target trajectory. Due to poor binary sensors which return only 0 or 1, it is impossible to get accurate position/error.

Trajectory tracking control of an underactuated capsubot

Autonomous Robots, 2015
Trajectory tracking control of underactuated systems is one of the challenging issues. This paper proposes a two-stage control strategy for the trajectory tracking of a class of underactuated mechanical systems. Two new acceleration profiles for the capsubot motion generation are proposed for the motion control of the capsubot. The optimum selection of

Multi-rotor robust trajectory tracking

2015 23rd Mediterranean Conference on Control and Automation (MED), 2015
This paper develops a position control strategy of a multi-rotor system, which moves from an X-Y way-point to another at constant maximum-achievable velocity, and follows rectilinear trajectories between way-points with slight deviations during transients.

Methods to Track Single-Molecule Trajectories

Langmuir, 2006
Methods are discussed to track single molecules in planar-supported phospholipid bilayers. Mainly, these methods constitute optimizations for a low signal-to-noise ratio and for the dim optical characteristics of single molecules. Algorithmic modifications to compensate and correct for misidentifications and misassignments are also described.
