Exploring Elimination Profiles and Metabolite Patterns of Brinzolamide and Dorzolamide After Transdermal Exposure for Doping Control Purposes

Dermal exposure to the carbonic anhydrase inhibitors dorzolamide and brinzolamide is detected in blood and urine using liquid chromatography–high‐resolution/high‐accuracy mass spectrometry. Contamination at milligram level can, therefore, lead to adverse analytical findings in sports drug testing.
