Conserved binding mode but diverse interfaces of MreC‐PBP2 interactions

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
The crystal structure of abMreC reveals a conserved two β‐barrel architecture and provides structural insights into its role within the bacterial elongasome. The abMreC–abPBP2 complex model identifies the molecular basis of MreC‐mediated PBP2 recognition, contributing to the regulation of peptidoglycan synthesis.

The relationship between transition shock and professional identity of nursing interns in China: a moderated mediation effect analysis

open access: yesFrontiers in Psychology
BackgroundNursing interns often experience transition shock upon entering clinical practice, which may diminish their professional identity and potentially lead to future turnover.

INTERFERENCE OF COUNTERPROPAGATING SHOCK WAVES [PDF]

open access: yesНаучно-технический вестник информационных технологий, механики и оптики, 2015
The subject of study. We examined the interaction of counterpropagating shock waves. The necessity of counterpropagating shock waves studying occurs at designing of high Mach number modern internal compression air intakes, Ramjets with subsonic and ...

ZW4864‐mediated inhibition of the β‐catenin/BCL9/BCL9L complex reveals therapeutic potential in bladder cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
BCL9 and BCL9L drive bladder cancer progression by enhancing β‐catenin signaling, promoting proliferation, migration, invasion, and organoid growth. Genetic depletion of BCL9(L) suppresses malignant phenotypes, while pharmacological disruption of the β‐catenin/BCL9(L) complex with ZW4864 inhibits canonical Wnt signaling and tumor‐associated cellular ...

Interferon beta drives therapy resistance in a patient‐derived model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Interferon type 1 (IFN‐1) production and signaling is associated with the acquisition of therapy resistance, following chronic DNA damage, via Interferon‐related DNA damage resistance signature (IRDS) gene expression. An alternative, DNA damage‐independent role of sustained IFN‐1 mediated resistance was identified and characterized by the emergence of ...

Polarization‐resolved femtosecond Vis/IR spectroscopy tailored for resolving weak signals in biological samples using minimal sample volume

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Unique biological samples, such as site‐specific mutant proteins, are available only in limited quantities. Here, we present a polarization‐resolved transient infrared spectroscopy setup with referencing to improve signal‐to‐noise tailored towards tracing small signals. We provide an overview of characterizing the excitation conditions for polarization‐

Stationary Mach Configurations with Pulsed Energy Release on the Normal Shock

open access: yesFluids, 2021
We obtained a theoretical analysis of stationary Mach configurations of shock waves with a pulsed energy release at the main (normal) shock and a corresponding change in gas thermodynamic properties.
