Voriconazole: A New Triazole Antifungal
The Annals of Pharmacotherapy, 2000OBJECTIVE: To review the currently available information on the pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, efficacy, adverse effects, drug interactions, and dosage guidelines of voriconazole. Comparative data for voriconazole and other azole antifungal agents are described where available.

Poly(1,2,4-triazole)s (PT)s are heterocyclic polymers, which were first synthesized by the reaction of bistetrazoles and a bisimidoyl chloride. Monomers containing the triazole unit are summarized. Poly(1,2,4-triazole)s can be obtained by the reaction of dinitriles with dihydrazides or by heating cyanocarboxylic acids.

Pest Management Science, 2012
AbstractAzole resistance is an emerging problem in the opportunistic mould Aspergillus fumigatus. The triazoles are the most important agents for the management of Aspergillus diseases in humans. Selection for acquired resistance may occur in the hospital setting through exposure to high doses of azoles during azole therapy, but evidence is ...

Investigation on inhibition behavior of S-triazole–triazole derivatives in acidic solution
Corrosion Science, 2008Four main methods, such as weight loss test, EIS, adsorption isotherm and quantum chemical calculation were employed to study the inhibition efficiency and mechanism of three derivatives on mild steel in acid solution, whose inhibition efficiency were proved to follow the order of DMTT > NMTT > PMTT, The adsorption model of DMTT was established at ...

Biochimica et Biophysica Acta (BBA) - Lipids and Lipid Metabolism, 1983
Abstract The effects of CGA-64250, a triazole inhibitor of fungal growth, on the lipid composition of Taphrina deformans (D1) were examined using Chromatographic and, in some cases, mass spectrometric techniques. Beginning 8–10 h after inoculation, the total lipid content of cells treated with 0.073 μg/ml averaged 30% more than controls.

Therapeutic drug monitoring for triazoles
Current Opinion in Infectious Diseases, 2008Invasive fungal infections are a leading cause of morbidity and mortality in immunocompromised patients, and mechanisms to optimize therapeutic outcomes are urgently required. Therapeutic drug monitoring represents an important component for the routine use of the triazoles.Triazoles have revolutionized the prevention and treatment of invasive fungal ...

Publisher Summary This chapter focuses on the chemistry of monocyclic1,2,3-triazoles as much of the chemistry of benzotriazoles and other fused systems has little in common with monocyclic triazole chemistry and provides a broad survey of methods of synthesis and reactions of triazoles. There has been considerable interest in 1,2,3-triazoles as light
