Non–small cell lung cancer is one of the most common types of cancer, and the prognosis of non–small cell lung cancer is still poor. Recent evidence has proved that long noncoding RNA is involved in tumorigenesis.

This study reveals a copper‐driven mechanism of COPD acute exacerbations mediated by the TNF‐α/ATP7A axis. TNF‐α suppresses the copper transporter ATP7A via competitive NF‐κB/CREB1/CBP signaling, resulting in intracellular copper accumulation, mitochondrial oxidative stress, and epithelial barrier disruption.

The role of TRPV1 and TRPM2 in warm temperature detection [PDF]
Ambient temperature is detected via specialized sensory nerve ending in the skin. The transduction of thermal stimuli into action potentials relies on the activity of temperature sensitive ion channels located in the membranes of sensory nerve endings ...

Transient receptor potential melastatin 2 (TRPM2) channel is a Ca2+-permeable, redox-activated cardiac ion channel protective in ischemia–reperfusion, but whether it regulates atrial endocrine output under stress is unclear. Here, we investigated whether

Polydopamine nanoparticles enable a precise, non‐genetic, and transcranial neuromodulation strategy via near‐infrared photothermal stimulation. By activating TRPV1 channels, this approach specifically enhances hippocampal gamma oscillations, thereby rescuing spatial memory deficits in models of perioperative neurocognitive disorder.

Ligand recognition and gating mechanism through three ligand-binding sites of human TRPM2 channel
TRPM2 is critically involved in diverse physiological processes including core temperature sensing, apoptosis, and immune response. TRPM2’s activation by Ca2+ and ADP ribose (ADPR), an NAD+-metabolite produced under oxidative stress and neurodegenerative

An Extracellular Pore‑Targeting Peptide Defines a Designable Allosteric Site in TRPV2
Structure‐guided peptide engineering yields Depiv2, a highly potent and subtype‐selective TRPV2 inhibitor that binds to the extracellular pore and remodels it into a closed, non‐conductive state. Depiv2 suppresses pathological cardiac hypertrophy, establishing the TRPV2 outer pore as a designable interface for selective peptide modulation.

TRPM2 - An adjustable thermostat
The Transient Receptor Potential Melastatin 2 (TRPM2) channel is a homotetrameric ligand-gated cation channel opened by the binding of cytosolic ADP ribose (ADPR) and Ca2+. In addition, strong temperature dependence of its activity has lately become a center of attention for both physiological and biophysical studies.
