Neuropeptide‐Dependent Spike Time Precision and Plasticity in Circadian Output Neurons

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Neuroscience, Volume 61, Issue 5, March 2025.
Dh31/Dh44 promote circadian clock neural coding mechanisms via spike time precision and plasticity. Dh31/Dh44 affects membrane potential dynamics of PI neurons in the precise timing of neuronal firing and synaptic potentiation through their synergistic interaction mediated possibly by calcium‐activated potassium channel conductance.

CHARACTERIZATION OF DEPOSITS FORMED IN A WATER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM CARACTERIZACIÓN DE DEPÓSITOS FORMADOS EN UN SISTEMA DE DISTRIBUCIÓN DE AGUA POTABLE

open access: yesIngeniare: Revista Chilena de Ingeniería, 2009
The development of unwanted deposits in any water distribution system is unavoidable under standard conditions. Knowing the composition of such deposits will help to establish the causes of deposit formation and consequently to be able to keep water ...

La sombra alargada del patrón: Gamonalismo y hábitos hacendatarios en Chimborazo tras la reforma agraria

open access: yesThe Journal of Latin American and Caribbean Anthropology, Volume 29, Issue 4, Page 352-363, December 2024.
Abstract This paper explores selective aspects of the historical processes of organization of the kichwa peasantry in the Andes of Ecuador. Resistência de genótipos de batata a Phthorimaea operculella (Zeller)

open access: yesScientia Agricola, 2001
A traça Phthorimaea operculella (Zeller) é considerada atualmente uma das principais pragas da batata. O uso de resistência varietal para controle desse inseto é uma alternativa promissora, mas que ainda precisa ser melhor pesquisada.

The Sima de los Huesos thorax and lumbar spine: Selected traits and state‐of‐the‐art

open access: yesThe Anatomical Record, Volume 307, Issue 7, Page 2465-2490, July 2024.
Abstract Information on the evolution of the thorax and lumbar spine in the genus Homo is hampered by a limited fossil record due to the inherent fragility of vertebrae and ribs. Neandertals show significant metric and morphological differences in these two anatomical regions, when compared to Homo sapiens.
