Tumor vascular homing endgolin-targeted radioimmunotherapy in hepatocellular carcinoma
Endoglin is a proliferation-associated cell membrane antigen and overexpressed in the angiogenic vasculature of solid tumors. However, the applications of endoglin (ENG)-targeted radioimmunotheray in hepatocellular carcinoma have not been reported yet.

We developed and validated a DNA methylation–based biomarker panel to distinguish pleural mesothelioma from other pleural conditions. Using the IMPRESS technology, we translated this panel into a clinically applicable assay. The resulting two classifier models demonstrated excellent performance, achieving high AUC values and strong diagnostic accuracy.

Targeting the tumor vasculature with engineered cystine-knot miniproteins
Cystine-knot miniprotein are small, highly stable, disulfide-rich peptides with increasing potential as drugs and tumor imaging agents. Here the authors develop cystine-knot miniproteins targeting the vascular tumor marker EDB, and use them as probes for

Role of noncoding RNA in vascular remodelling [PDF]
Purpose of review: Noncoding RNAs (ncRNAs), such as microRNAs (miRNAs) and long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) are becoming fundamentally important in the pathophysiology relating to injury-induced vascular remodelling.

Potential therapeutic targeting of BKCa channels in glioblastoma treatment
This review summarizes current insights into the role of BKCa and mitoBKCa channels in glioblastoma biology, their potential classification as oncochannels, and the emerging pharmacological strategies targeting these channels, emphasizing the translational challenges in developing BKCa‐directed therapies for glioblastoma treatment.

The LINC01116 long noncoding RNA is induced by hypoxia and associated with poor prognosis and high recurrence rates in two cohorts of lung adenocarcinoma patients. Here, we demonstrate that besides its expression in cancer cells, LINC01116 is markedly expressed in lymphatic endothelial cells of the tumor stroma in which it participates in hypoxia ...

Cancer therapeutic potential of combinatorial immuno- and vaso-modulatory interventions [PDF]
Currently, most of the basic mechanisms governing tumor-immune system interactions, in combination with modulations of tumor-associated vasculature, are far from being completely understood.

Vascular RhoJ Is an Effective and Selective Target for Tumor Angiogenesis and Vascular Disruption [PDF]
Current antiangiogenic therapy is limited by its cytostatic nature and systemic side effects. To address these limitations, we have unveiled the role of RhoJ, an endothelial-enriched Rho GTPase, during tumor progression. RhoJ blockade provides a double assault on tumor vessels by both inhibiting tumor angiogenesis and disrupting the preformed tumor ...
