Analysis of Risk Factors Affecting Cumulative Live Birth in Couples With Unexplained Infertility Undergoing IVF/ICSI. [PDF]

open access: yesReprod Med Biol
Our study demonstrated a striking prevalence of unexplained infertility (UI) at 8.8% within the study cohort. Notably, patients undergoing a complete IVF/ICSI cycle achieved a remarkable cumulative live birth rate (CLBR) of 62.2%, highlighting the clinical efficacy of assisted reproductive technologies in this population.

AQP3 Influences Unexplained Recurrent Abortion by Regulating Trophoblast Cell Migration and Invasion via the METTL14/IGF2BP1/AQP3/PI3K/AKT Pathway. [PDF]

open access: yesJ Cell Mol Med
ABSTRACT Reduced trophoblast migration and invasion contribute to unexplained recurrent spontaneous abortion (URSA). Aquaporin 3 (AQP3) plays a crucial role in facilitating trophoblast migration and invasion during early pregnancy through fetal‐maternal crosstalk.

Evaluation of the Effects of 1,25VitD3 on Inflammatory Responses and IL-25 Expression

open access: yesFrontiers in Genetics, 2021
VitD3 may contribute to a successful pregnancy through modulation of immune responses, so VitD3 deficiency may have a role in the immunopathogenesis of unexplained recurrent spontaneous abortion (URSA). However, the mechanisms of immunomodulatory actions

Effect of prednisone on IL-17 secretion in maternal-fetal immune rejection cell model, and on IL-23/IL-17 inflammation axis [PDF]

open access: yes, 2021
Purpose: To investigate the influence of prednisone on secretion of IL-17 in maternal-fetal immune rejection cell model, and on tIL-23/IL-17 inflammation axis. Methods: Four groups of Kunming mice were used.

Inhibition of HMGB1 Ameliorates the Maternal-Fetal Interface Destruction in Unexplained Recurrent Spontaneous Abortion by Suppressing Pyroptosis Activation

open access: yesFrontiers in Immunology, 2021
Recurrent spontaneous abortion (RSA) is a common complication of pregnancy that affects the physical and mental health of pregnant women, and approximately 50% of the mechanisms are unclear. Our previous studies have found that high mobility group box 1 (

A missense variant in NCF1 is associated with susceptibility to unexplained recurrent spontaneous abortion

open access: yesOpen Life Sciences, 2022
Unexplained recurrent spontaneous abortion (URSA) is a major concern in reproductive medicine. Neutrophil cytosolic factor 1 (NCF1) polymorphisms leading to low production of reactive oxygen species (ROS) are strongly associated with autoimmune diseases.

Research progress of immune balance and genetic polymorphism in unexplained recurrent abortion

open access: yesExploration of Immunology, 2023
The etiology of recurrent spontaneous abortion (RSA) is extremely complex, as there are 40–50% of patients with unexplained miscarriages, known as unexplained RSA (URSA).

Low-dose aspirin protects unexplained recurrent spontaneous abortion via downregulation of HMGB1 inflammation activation

open access: yesFrontiers in Endocrinology, 2022
BackgroundHigh mobility group box protein 1 (HMGB1) is considered as a kind of sterile inflammatory mediators, which is an overexpression in patients with unexplained recurrent spontaneous abortion (URSA).
