This paper presents OpenRatSLAM2, a new version of OpenRatSLAM - a bioinspired SLAM framework based on computational models of the rodent hippocampus. OpenRatSLAM2 delivers low-computation-cost visual-inertial based SLAM, suitable for GPS-denied environments.
