Low Cost Assembly Design of Unmanned Underwater Vehicle (UUV)

2021 International Bhurban Conference on Applied Sciences and Technologies (IBCAST), 2021
Unmanned Underwater Vehicle (UUV) drives underwater without requiring any real-time input from a human operator. These robotic vehicles are mostly used to explore the underwater world. These vehicles can be designed to perform underwater specific tasks like the exploration of the underwater world and spying etc.

Pattern recognition for underwater docking of unmanned underwater vehicle (UUV)

2015 15th International Conference on Control, Automation and Systems (ICCAS), 2015
For underwater control and localization of an unmanned underwater vehicle (UUV), we have used vision information of a suggested pattern image. The pattern is based on suggested criteria. From the pattern specialized on direction information we extracted directional lines and had done Double Hough Transform (DHT) method on them. Once Hough Transform (HT)

Pose detection and control of multiple Unmanned Underwater Vehicles (UUVs) using optical feedback [PDF]

open access: yesOCEANS 2014 - TAIPEI, 2014
This paper proposes pose detection and control algorithms in order to control the relative pose between two Unmanned Underwater Vehicles (UUVs) using optical feedback. The leader UUV is configured to have a light source at its crest which acts as a guiding beacon for the follower UUV which has a detector array at its bow.

Methods of Modeling of an Underwater Unmanned Vehicle (UUV)

AIAA Guidance, Navigation, and Control Conference, 2009
The use of unmanned vehicle has been highly increasing during the last years, in the Aerospace and Underwater fields. There are continuous needs in territory surveillance and protection by use of unmanned vehicles in the Aerospace and Marine fields. For this reason, it is important to conceive and develop techniques to model, optimize and enhance the ...

Initial development of a flapping propelled unmanned underwater vehicle (UUV)

2007 IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Biomimetics (ROBIO), 2007
This paper studied the swimming modes of aquatic animals, then the development and experiment of a flapping propelled, radio-controlled UUV are described. The vehicle consists of a pair of flexible flapping wings as propeller; a pare of elevators and a rudder at the end of the shell provide the hydro-kinetic force for attitude control.

Design and Development of an Unmanned Underwater Vehicle (UUV) in the Form of a Cuttlefish

Volume 4B: Dynamics, Vibration, and Control, 2018
Current methods of unmanned underwater locomotion do not meet stealth, robustness and efficiency. This work discuses about designing a Bioinspired UUV or Unmanned Underwater Vehicle that uses an undulating fin approximating to that of a cuttlefish fin locomotion.

Regelung von unbemannten Unterwasserfahrzeugen (Unmanned Underwater Vehicles/UUV)

2021

New tracking methods of Unmanned Underwater Vehicles (UUVs)

2012 IEEE International Conference on Signal Processing, Communication and Computing (ICSPCC 2012), 2012
Unmanned Underwater Vehicles (UUVs) are of great importance in ocean robotics, because of the wide industrial and military application range they span. Tracking a undersea moving object is frequently encountered in the UUV applications, such as tracking a halobios.
