WSB.APP/PS1 mice develop age‐dependent cerebral amyloid angiopathy, cerebrovascular dysfunction, and white matter deficits

open access: yesAlzheimer's &Dementia, Volume 22, Issue 6, June 2026.
Abstract INTRODUCTION Cerebrovascular deficits, including cerebral amyloid angiopathy (CAA), play a key role in Alzheimer's disease (AD) pathogenesis. Here, we characterize the susceptibility of the WSB/EiJ genetic context to human AD‐relevant cerebrovascular phenotypes. METHODS CAA and parenchymal plaque analysis and in vivo neurovascular imaging were

Navigating Unconditional Positive Regard: Counsellors' Perspectives on Client Disclosures of Child Sexual Abuse Offending

open access: yesCounselling and Psychotherapy Research, Volume 26, Issue 2, June 2026.
ABSTRACT Objective This study explores counsellors' perceptions of working with clients who disclose thoughts regarding, or experience of perpetrating, sexual abuse of a child. Counselling of such clients is often framed as emotionally draining, distressing and a challenge for the core conditions of a productive therapeutic relationship, specifically ...

Imperatorin ameliorates myocardial ischemia‐reperfusion injury by inhibiting endoplasmic reticulum stress‐mediated apoptosis via the PI3K/AKT/Nrf2 pathway

open access: yesJournal of Cell Communication and Signaling, Volume 20, Issue 2, June 2026.
By activating the PI3K/AKT/Nrf2 pathway, imperatorin can reduce endoplasmic reticulum stress and its mediated apoptosis in cardiomyocytes, improve the pathological changes of myocardial tissue, and thus improve myocardial ischemia/reperfusion injury.

Selective Rh(II)‐Catalyzed Intermolecular Oxyamidation and Acid‐Promoted Nucleophilic Cyclization Cascade of Enamides

open access: yesChemistryEurope, Volume 4, Issue 6, June 2026.
A structurally diverse series of 1‐amino‐izidine scaffolds was accessed through a cascade process combining rhodium‐catalyzed nitrene‐transfer oxyamidation with subsequent nucleophilic cyclization under acidic conditions, proceeding via an in situ generated iminium intermediate.

STING Modulating ER‐Phagy in the Prelimbic Cortex Neurons Contributed to Neuropathic Pain and Emotional Comorbidity

open access: yesCNS Neuroscience &Therapeutics, Volume 32, Issue 6, June 2026.
SNL induced ER‐phagy impairment and ER stress increase in the PrL neuron via STING and the STING pathway. Our data indicated that enhancing ER‐phagy in PrL neurons might provide analgesic and antidepressant effects through STING and its pathways in SNL mice. ABSTRACT Background Our previous data suggested that autophagy is crucial for neuropathic pain.
