Van Hiele’s Theory: Transforming And Gender Perspective of Student’s Geometrical Thinking
Abstract The purpose of this study was to identify the level of geometrical thinking of junior high school students in Bantul District using the Van Hiele test. The research approach was descriptive qualitative. The research subjects were students in grades VII and VIII in 4 junior high schools in Bantul district.

Teorija Van Hiele pokušava dati odgovor na pitanje razine razumijevanja geometrije kao grane matematike, a sastoji se od pet razina koje opisuju razmišljanje ispitanika i sukladno tom ih smješta na jednu od tih pet razina.

A Study on the attitude of female high school students in Tiran and Koroun towards geometry instruction based on Van Hiele model [PDF]
Van Hiele theory is a learning model which presents different kinds of thought that students may experience when facing with Geometric shapes. It includes different levels from visual encounter with geometric shape to formal understanding of geometric ...

ABSTRACT Background Pre‐service mathematics teachers frequently struggle with understanding the definitions and hierarchical classifications of quadrilaterals, often misidentifying inclusive relationships. These misconceptions hinder their ability to teach geometry effectively and reflect gaps in both content knowledge and pedagogical readiness.

In this work, we present our results of using machine learning to predict temporal behavior changes in Alzheimers Disease using entire topological feature maps of the hippocampus surface (2100 feature points). Our paper demonstrates that it is possible to use an entire topological map instead of just imaging derived volumetric measurements for ...

Operational Near Real Time Global Riverine Sediment Flux Estimates From Space
Abstract We present global estimates of riverine sediment flux derived from an open‐source suite of algorithms using the Harmonized Landsat Sentinel (HLS) and discharge products. We estimated Sediment Concentration (suspended sediment concentration [SSC]) via neural networks, trained and tested on matchups of in situ and HLS data, obtaining a median ...

DEVELOPMENT OF MODULE OF LEARNING GEOMETRY BASED ON VAN HIELE THEORY
The aim of this research was to develop a teaching and learning module using Van Hiele theories for quadrilateral topics in grade VII students in middle school, which is valid, practical, and effective. Literatures explain that nowadays the students over generalize the concept of geometry without further understanding about the concept of geometry and ...
