Variable structure control of quantum systems
2015 54th IEEE Conference on Decision and Control (CDC), 2015We prepare an arbitrary quantum state in the presence of noisy environment as well as systematic uncertainty using a variable structure control method involving quantum weak measurement. We first steer the quantum state to a sliding surface and then manipulate the state from the sliding surface to the target by quantum weak measurement.

Variable Structure Predefined‐Time Stabilization of Second‐Order Systems
Asian journal of control, 2018A controller that stabilizes second‐order vector systems in predefined‐time is introduced in this paper. That is, for second‐order systems a controller is designed such that the trajectories reach the origin in a time defined in advance.

Variable Structure Control of Nonlinear Systems
IFAC Proceedings Volumes, 1995Abstract A class of nonlinear systems expressed by nonlinear differential equations with uncertain parameters is investigated. The nonlinear model is transformed into a linear model with parameters varying in definite intervals. Variable-structure control in sliding mode is designed. The sliding mode is realized with respect to an auxiliary variable.
